Why do I need a lawyer?
- The insurance carriers all have their own legal representation. It is in your best interest to have the best protection available.
Why does certification matter (why should I have a certified trial lawyer)?
- Certification is another way of establishing that the law firm you choose for representation has been recognized by the state court system.

- Usual, customary and reasonable. A phrase created by insurance companies to justify their arbitrary reimbursements.
Which cases can be arbitrated?
- Any claim for which you have received lower reimbursement than expected, and have followed all carrier guidelines.
What if my patient already has an attorney?
- Your patient’s attorney’s allegiance is to your patient. You should have an attorney who will get you the best reimbursement possible.
How long does it take to file No Fault and Major Medical arbitrations?
- The average is between 30 and 60 days.
What documentation is required?
- Any information that is pertinent to the claim. You must have proof of all documentation sent (i.e., fax confirmations).
How are documents transferred from my office to the attorney?
- Our staff is extremely knowledgeable about what the courts require. We can either provide you with that list, or come to your offices and copy required information. You can also scan paperwork directly to our office.
F/U – status reports
- We will provide status reports on a regular basis, but your office can always feel comfortable calling us for updates.
Will the physician have to appear in court?
- Physician testimony is rare, and we try to avoid the necessity of physicians leaving their practice. However, there are times when an appearance will be required to settle a case.
How long until we see results?
- There is a tremendous backup in the court system; however the average settlement is in about 60-120 days
